Job summary

Jefferson Frank is recruiting a Data & AI Architect to lead enterprise-scale architectures and delivery for a growing Microsoft-focused consultancy. You will design modern data platforms, engage with senior stakeholders, and guide AI adoption across client projects across the UK.

The role combines architecture leadership with client engagement, workshops, and governance to drive measurable business outcomes through data and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Data ecosystem: Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL and Power BI.
• Experience designing modern data architecture: Lakehouse, Data Mesh, ETL, Master Data Management.
• Understanding of AI technologies: Machine Learning, Generative AI, Responsible AI practices.
• Experience delivering solutions within Agile environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale Data, Analytics and AI architectures.
• Architect modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Lead customer workshops to capture requirements and shape strategy.
• Create scalable, secure analytics and AI solutions.
• Provide architecture governance across transformation programmes.
• Support pre-sales activities including demonstrations and proposals.
• Produce architecture, technical and functional documentation.
• Advise on AI adoption, cloud strategy and data transformation initiatives.
