Overview

Looking for an accomplished Enterprise Architect to lead the strategic architecture and delivery for the Specialty Lines business. This six-month engagement will focus on aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, driving legacy modernization, and enabling digital transformation through data, AI, and cloud-native platforms. The architect will be responsible for defining and communicating the current and target state architectures, developing actionable roadmaps, and guiding implementation efforts to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business priorities.

Your Role
  • Architectural Strategy & Road mapping: Define and articulate the current and future state architecture for Specialty Lines and develop transition roadmaps that prioritize initiatives based on business value, cost, and feasibility.
  • Solution Design & Implementation Oversight: Create comprehensive solution designs that realize key capabilities within the target architecture. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions adhere to architectural principles, policies, and standards throughout implementation.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish and maintain architectural principles, policies, and standards aligned with the enterprise blueprint. Lead governance activities to ensure consistency and coherence across the change portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory: Engage proactively with business leaders, partners, and suppliers to provide architectural insight, address strategic challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation and value creation.
  • Enterprise Architecture Repository Management: Ensure key architectural assets—such as capability models, application inventories, and target architectures—are maintained under configuration control and readily accessible to support enterprise-wide decision‑making.
Your Profile
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles within the insurance sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Specialty Lines insurance products, processes, and regulatory landscape.
  • Proven track record in leading digital transformation, legacy system modernization, and designing cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, resolve conflicting priorities, and drive consensus to achieve strategic business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in modern technology stacks, hybrid cloud environments, and integration architectures.
  • Solid understanding of operational, non-functional, and data security requirements, with experience designing compliant and scalable solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of data platforms, AI/ML frameworks, and integration technologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Microsoft Azure Data & AI, AWS, OpenAI, Databricks, Snowflake.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
