Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm in the UK is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support the Digital Transformation of the M25 project. This role focuses on improving and managing IT architecture, reporting progress and facilitating communication between various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise architecture, familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, and technical proficiency in data platforms and BI tools. Qualifications

  • Experience running enterprise architecture for small and medium size organisations.
  • Understanding established architectural frameworks.
  • Support delivery of technical solutions ensuring compliance with business requirements.
  • Present updates at complex governance forums.
  • Engaging senior level stakeholders to obtain buy-in.
  • Develop an enterprise architecture strategy organization-wide.
  • Shaping enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Understanding of M25 business, digital technology and applications.
  • Engage third party suppliers on technical solutions.
  • Identify and track interdependencies.
  • Manage technical debt.
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Technical proficiency in data platforms and BI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of enterprise architecture processes and principles.
  • Development of an enterprise architecture methodology.
  • Capture enterprise architecture decisions and logic.
  • Regular updates on progress to management.
  • Manage Technical Design Authority (TDA) for technical solutions.
  • Support governance forums.
  • Identify and track architecture risks and issues.
