Job summary

Telent is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the technical strategy for the TVMS CCTV Programme. You will shape architecture governance, mentor a team of specialists, and work with customers to deliver future-ready solutions.

The role is hybrid, requiring travel to Warwick and London offices, with a focus on secure, scalable, standardised architectures across CCTV, networking, cloud and command & control systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Enterprise Architect or equivalent leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture governance and large-scale systems integration.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, C2 systems, enterprise networking, cloud technologies.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience developing architecture roadmaps and strategic blueprints.
• Knowledge of CDM Designer responsibilities and Safety by Design; bids support.
• ITIL or TOGAF certifications.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Enterprise Architect will lead the technical strategy and architectural direction of Telent's TVMS CCTV Programme. You'll drive architecture governance, lead a team of technical specialists, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to deliver innovative, future-ready solutions.

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to travel to our Warwick and London offices.

What you'll do:

• Define and lead the technical strategy, enterprise architecture and roadmap for the TVMS CCTV Programme, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and Telent's strategic vision.
• Provide architectural governance and technical assurance across multiple workstreams, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, standardised and compliant with enterprise architecture principles.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Solution Architects and Senior Technical Specialists, providing technical oversight across a large multi-disciplinary programme.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders, acting as the technical authority throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Develop architecture blueprints, standards and reusable designs across technologies including CCTV, networking, cloud infrastructure, command and control systems, communications and emerging technologies.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance the TVMS platform and supporting future expansion across the UK.
• Support business development activities, bids and strategic customer engagements, helping shape future opportunities and ensuring technical solutions deliver maximum value.

Who you are:

You are an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in complex infrastructure or mission-critical environments. Confident influencing senior stakeholders and leading technical teams, you can translate business needs into strategic, scalable solutions while championing innovation and architectural best practice.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in an Enterprise Architect or equivalent strategic architecture leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, governance, technical assurance and large-scale systems integration.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, Command & Control systems, enterprise networking, cloud technologies and associated infrastructure.
• Demonstrable experience leading and mentoring technical teams while influencing senior internal and customer stakeholders.
• Experience developing architecture roadmaps, high and low-level designs, technology standards and strategic blueprints.
• Knowledge of CDM Designer responsibilities and Safety by Design principles, with experience supporting bids, pre-sales and business development activities.
• ITIL / TOGAF certifications
