Job Description: Enterprise architect, Finance transformation with secondary focus on SAP transformation.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Bank's IT Architecture Team aligned to an IT Delivery Capability that delivers the transformation agenda and outcomes.
- Participate in workshops, providing quality assurance and gathering requirements to shape project deliverables.
- Understand the Bank's As-Is Architecture components including processes, capabilities, applications, technologies and integration.
- Formulate and document project artefacts including:
- Design principles and policies
- Technical Requirements (Functional and Non-Functional)
- Technical standards
- Key Decisions
- Solution briefs and high-level designs
- Contribute to required procurement processes such as RFx, vendor selection and workshops.
- Oversee and assure the work of in-house and external design and delivery resources.
- Challenge delivery partner proposals where necessary to protect the Bank's interests and needs.
- Act as the key technical point of contact for partners and engage with internal teams.
- Support implementation arrangements and report to Service / Software Delivery Manager and the Chief Architect.
- Maintain solution architecture for the Treasury & Operations transformation, covering loan booking, payments, guarantees management, exotic trade pricing and booking, and market data management.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and analyse solution options, providing technical steer for projects and BAU teams.
- Document and deliver solution architecture artifacts throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
- Align architectures, applications, and data across programmes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Build and maintain catalogues and models at appropriate abstraction levels.
- Identify and resolve issues and risks related to architectural activities.
- Propose appropriate technologies and techniques to meet programme challenges.
- Present and explain architecture matters in governance and other forums.
Qualifications
Essential
- Experience working with financial services.
- Excellent communication in written and verbal form.
- Extensive experience in solution architecture across Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and Commercial Lending solutions, with mandatory Finastra Summit experience.
- Understanding of financial processes including cash management, forecasting, risk management, payments, accounting, compliance.
- Extensive experience in solution architecture methodology and frameworks, demonstrating As-Is and To-Be patterns.
- Proven ability to transform business requirements and strategic aspirations into concise solution options within technical constraints.
- Awareness of leading industry trends in the architectural domain.
- Good formal modelling skills, including UML.
- Active engagement with current developments in architecture and related disciplines, tools, and markets.
Desired
- Experience in trade lifecycle management technical transformation, including Finastra Summit, integration of treasury systems with finance systems (e.g., S/4HANA), ActiveViam Atoti, and QuantLib.
- Knowledge of API integration and interfacing technologies.
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, SQL.
- Experience in payment systems, including SWIFT.
- Ability to work across various technologies within the specific domain.
- Understanding of different project delivery lifecycle frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
