Job summary

TechShack is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architecture across a major MOD Defence programme, shaping the design for a large cloud hosting initiative. You will join an established architecture team, working across cloud and on‑premise environments, and engaging with technical and business stakeholders to inform key architecture decisions within a Defence context.

Previous Defence/MOD experience and strong cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS or GCP) are essential for this

Qualifications

• Defence/MOD experience required.
• Strong Enterprise Architecture background.
• Experience with Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience on cloud hosting programmes.
• Experience with on-premise infrastructure.

I’m currently supporting a high-profile MOD Defence project and am looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join an established architecture team working on a major cloud hosting programme.

The Role

• Enterprise Architecture across a complex MOD Defence programme
• Work within an established architecture team
• Help shape and deliver a major cloud hosting programme
• Work across cloud and on-premise environments
• Engage with technical and business stakeholders across the programme
• Contribute to architecture decisions across a complex Defence environment
