Ventula Consulting Ltd. in London (Hybrid) seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead a major core banking transformation, replacing a legacy platform with a new cloud-based system. You will shape the architecture across cloud infrastructure, integration, and connectivity, ensuring business continuity during the transition.

A key aspect is replacing screen-scraping interfaces with modern APIs to support the new platform, with immediate start for a 3-month rolling engagement.

Competenze

• Senior technical or enterprise architecture experience in transformation programmes.
• Strong background in legacy modernization and cloud-based platforms.
• Experience spanning mainframes, infrastructure, connectivity, APIs and systems integration.

Enterprise Architect – Core Banking Transformation - London (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support a major core banking transformation, replacing a legacy platform with a new cloud-based system.

You’ll help shape the architecture across cloud infrastructure, systems integration and connectivity, ensuring business continuity throughout the transition.

A key part of the programme involves replacing existing screen-scraping interfaces with modern APIs to support the new platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Define the architecture for the transition from the legacy core banking platform to the new cloud environment.
• Shape API and integration approaches across existing and replacement systems.
• Address infrastructure, connectivity, resilience and business continuity requirements.
• Support legacy system analysis, including source code reverse engineering and potential AI-assisted modernisation.

Key experience:

• Senior technical or enterprise architecture experience across complex transformation programmes.
• Strong background in legacy modernisation and cloud-based platforms.
• Experience spanning mainframes, infrastructure, connectivity, APIs and systems integration.
• Understanding of resilience and business continuity.
• Banking or financial services transformation experience would be advantageous.
