Job summary

Vocative Consulting is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a hybrid role in Nottingham. In this permanent position you will shape the enterprise roadmap, ensuring architectural coherence and governance across a large transformation programme.

The role focuses on influence rather than authority, requiring collaboration with stakeholders to deliver a single view of the organisation and its distributed architecture. Some onsite presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to communicate complex architecture concepts clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to be onsite in Nottingham for a couple of days per week.

Overview

Enterprise Architect - Hybrid (Nottingham) - £80-85K + car - Permanent

An experienced candidate is sought to join a major transformation programme across a very large enterprise, ensuring architectural coherence, strategy and governance are robust. The key priority is to create the enterprise roadmap to enable coherent, consistent decisions and to understand risk, dependencies and opportunities as the organisation transforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical and business teams, and architecture colleagues to bring a single view of the organisation and alignment across a distributed architecture function.

The role is primarily focused on influencing rather than enforcing; it is not a managerial role, and you will need strong skills in adding value and bringing people on the journey without direct authority. You will have prior experience as an Enterprise Architect, ideally in a large enterprise, and involvement in major transformations.
