Job summary

VIQU IT Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to hire an AI Platform Architect. The role focuses on shaping an enterprise AI platform across Azure and AWS, designing scalable, secure, and cost-conscious capabilities for ML, GenAI, and production-ready AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting enterprise AI/ML platforms across Azure and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps, deployment, orchestration, and monitoring.
• Experience designing GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and guardrails.
• Knowledge of AI/ML tools such as Azure ML, SageMaker, MLflow, Kubeflow, or Databricks.
• Strong cloud architecture, integration, IAM, and security knowledge.
• Experience producing architectural blueprints and technical design documentation.
• Understanding of responsible AI, data protection, and AI governance.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end AI platform architecture across Azure and AWS
• Design platform capabilities for machine learning, MLOps, model hosting, and AI monitoring
• Define GenAI architectures covering LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI orchestration
• Evaluate AI tools and technologies, making recommendations based on security, performance, and cost
• Produce architectural blueprints, technical standards, and reference architectures
• Define secure integration patterns across cloud platforms and enterprise systems
• Guide implementation teams and oversee technical solution design
• Embed security, responsible AI, governance, and cost optimisation into platform architecture
