We are looking for a creative, delivery oriented Account Executive to join the team to maximise the phenomenal market opportunity that exists for Databricks in the Adriatics, CEE and Türkiye regions. As an Enterprise Account Executive (New Business) at Databricks you'll focus on acquiring new enterprise customers within these regions and share an informed point of view on the Big Data and Advanced Analytics space. The impact you will have:

  • Identify new business opportunities, win new clients and increase the subsequent usage of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
  • Assess your accounts and develop a strategy to identify and engage all buying centers and stakeholders
  • Use a solution-based approach to selling and demonstrate value to potential new clients
  • Conclude quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles
  • Track all customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Own the consumption story with your customers, using demand plans to identify the most viable use cases in each account to maximise the Databricks impact
  • Orchestrate and work with internal teams to maximize the impact on your ecosystem
  • Build exceptional value with all engagements to guide successful negotiations to close point
  • Track record of achieving and over-achieving against quota
  • Experience selling complex software (ideally with a focus on data & AI) to customers within these regions
  • A passion for winning new clients (also known as the hunter mentality!)
  • Strong tenure in previous roles
  • Understanding of consumption-based, land and expand sales models advantageous
  • Evidence of creating demand and delivering substantial value for clients
  • Experience working with sales methodologies and process, e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling and accurate forecasting
  • Experience developing partnerships with "champions" and client teams to support execution of your territory plan
  • Fluent English required and one of the regional languages is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
