Project Manager – ENLab Heritage Education Project

Contract: 16‑month fixed‑term. 29 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, flexible). Salary: £31,363 per annum (pro‑rata if part‑time).

Location: Forty Hall Estate, Enfield, EN2 9HA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, production and delivery of the ENLab borough‑wide Heritage Education project.
  • Produce curriculum‑linked resource packs, Heritage Clubs and a celebratory Heritage Festival for primary school children.
  • Work with key partners (Museum of Enfield, RSA Trust, Enfield Archaeological Society, Enfield Society, Whitewebbs Transport Museum) to ensure high quality, engaging heritage education.
  • Oversee project milestones and line‑manage two new positions: ENLab Education Officer and ENLab Volunteer Supervisor.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement with schools, community groups and partner organisations.
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets, reports and stakeholder communication.
  • Be available to work weekends and evenings when required.
Qualifications
  • Strong track record of delivering heritage or museum‑based projects.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and engagement with schools, community groups and partner organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team.
  • Knowledge of heritage management and education best practices preferred.
