Job Title: Enhanced DBS Labourer – Care Facility Maintenance Team

Location: Accrington

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Rate: £16.25-£17.00 per hour, umbrella payments only

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Labourer with an Enhanced DBS to join the maintenance team at a busy care facility in Accrington. This role involves supporting the existing maintenance staff with general upkeep, repairs, and day-to-day site tasks. You’ll also be responsible for collecting materials and parts from local suppliers, so a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the maintenance team with general building and site maintenance tasks
  • Carrying out basic repairs, tidying work areas, and supporting trades on site
  • Driving to and from local suppliers such as Screwfix and builders’ merchants to collect materials
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Maintaining a professional and respectful attitude within a care environment
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (in date) – essential due to the working environment
  • Full UK driving licence and own car – essential for travelling to suppliers
