HealthHero Integrated Care is recruiting independent, autonomous Prescribing Clinicians to support our Out-of-Hours Urgent Care across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. Roles include face-to-face shifts at Primary Care Centres in Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Whitchurch, plus mobile home visits and regional triage from the Head Office.

Further to recent organisational growth, we have an exciting opportunity for independent, autonomous Prescribing Clinicians to support our Urgent Care service within the out-of-hours (OOH) period across the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin locality.
Working from our Telford Headquarters and/or from one of our Primary Care Centres, as an Independent, autonomous Prescribing Clinician you will work as part of our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and timely care to those accessing our Integrated Urgent Care Service, providing a variety of shift opportunities to include:

Our services bring together clinical, operational and care coordination colleagues to deliver responsive, patient-centred care. Whether providing advice remotely, seeing a patient at a treatment centre, coordinating care or visiting them at home, our teams help patients access the right support.

Our Clinical Practitioners provide care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or referral of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed injury or illness, or acute exacerbation of existing conditions. You will assist in the development of an integrated approach to the delivery of patient care across the whole system of health and social care, working in partnership with all relevant stakeholders.
Please note that the support of a senior clinician is always available remotely during your shift.
You will be a registered nurse, paramedic, or other allied health professional, with a non-medical prescribing qualification in the context of a broad scope of practice.
