Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking an English Tutor to work with students from primary through A-Level. You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt to diverse age groups, and support progress and exam readiness. The role supports remote and in-person delivery with flexible hours to fit your schedule.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent tutoring experience is essential, with strong knowledge of English Language and English Literature up to A-Level standards and exam formats.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent tutoring/academic coaching experience across diverse age groups.
• Ability to deliver engaging primary literacy lessons and deep subject knowledge in English Language and English Literature up to A-Level specifications (AQA, OCR, Edexcel).
• Experience tailoring teaching to both primary and secondary/college learners.
• Understanding of primary SPAG and phonics; familiarity with set texts and exam requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons across primary to A-Level.
• Tailor teaching to diverse age groups and ability levels.
• Track learner progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Support learners with essay writing, textual analysis, and exam technique for GCSE/A-Level.
