English Teacher - Supply - Hove

  • Location: Brighton
  • Pay Rate: £168 - £260+ per day
  • Job Type: Supply

Reed Education are seeking an experienced English Teacher to work on a supply basis with a secondary school based on the outskirts of Brighton. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in teaching the Englishcurriculum in UK schools and is adept at planning and marking. The role is for initially six weeks but may continue longer.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and learning experience for students.
Qualifications
  • Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
  • Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
