Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN English Teacher looking for a new full-time, long-term opportunity in Knowsley? A fantastic role has opened up for a dedicated professional to start this September, where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Location: Knowsley
Start Date: SeptemberShift: Full Time,Long term

Responsibilities

  • Tailor the English curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your students.
  • Implement and adapt alternative literacy frameworks to support student progress.
  • Cultivate a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Employ effective classroom management skills to ensure a productive and focused atmosphere.

Requirements

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Experience teaching students with a range of special needs, particularly Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), is highly preferred.
  • You must have an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
