English Teacher - SEMH - Small Classes
A welcoming and structured school is seeking a committed English Teacher to teach small classes of students with SEMH needs who have faced significant barriers to education. This is a rewarding opportunity for an English Teacher who is passionate about re‑engaging learners, building confidence, and supporting positive outcomes through high‑quality teaching and strong relationships.
As an English Teacher in this setting, you will work with small groups of students, delivering engaging and accessible English lessons tailored to individual needs. Students may present with SEMH needs, anxiety, and challenging behaviours, so strong classroom management and a calm, consistent approach are essential. You will be supported by a strong leadership team and a dedicated group of pastoral and support staff who work closely together to ensure students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
