English Teacher QTS — Newcastle areas

Up to £1,000 per week depending on experience.

Are you a Qualified English Teacher looking for a full time role within a secondary school?

Connex Education are looking Qualified English Teachers to work with multiple schools in the Newcastle area.

Role Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons across key stages 3 and 4 to mixed ability groups.
• Mark and assess students whilst working in line with school and departmental policies.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
• Contribute positively to the English department and whole school initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills (QTLS) is essential.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4 levels.
• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
• A real passion for supporting students progress and achieve.
