Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
  • Develop and implement appropriate assessment methods to evaluate student attainment.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and enhance the English curriculum.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their academic and personal development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification (Must be exact equivalent)
  • Previous experience teaching English at GCSE level (experience at KS5/A Level is desirable).
  • Deep knowledge of the English curriculum, including literature, language, and writing skills.
