Position: English Teacher
Location: Salisbury
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (until December 2025, with potential extension to July 2026)
Pay Range: £165 £250 per day
Working Hours: 8:00am 4:00pm

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Salisbury. This full-time position is available to start immediately and will run until December 2025, with the possibility of continuing through to July 2026.

You ll be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and collaborative department that values creativity, teamwork, and high-quality teaching. The role would suit a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and helping them to develop a love for language and literature.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Teaching English to students across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and motivate learners

  • Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure strong outcomes

  • Working collaboratively with a dedicated English department to share ideas and resources

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular opportunities
