English Teacher

Maternity Cover Feb to Dec 2026

Location: Near Oldham

Contract: Full-time

Vision for Education is working in partnership with a well‑run, high‑performing secondary school near Oldham to recruit an English Teacher for a maternity cover starting February 2026 and running through to December 2026.

The Role

You will teach English across KS3 and KS4, with potential opportunities in KS5 depending on experience. You’ll join a well‑established department with excellent resources and a collaborative approach to planning.

You will:
  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured English lessons
  • Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and strong student outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider school community where required
