Pay: 173.00 p/d
Location: South Wales
Contract: Full-time or Part-time (ongoing and long-term opportunities available)

Empowering Learning Cardiff is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a popular Secondary School in South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher with a passion for English Language and Literature to engage, challenge, and motivate students to reach their academic potential.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching for English Language and/or Literature courses up to GCSE level.
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons and assessments in line with the relevant exam board specifications.
  • Support and stretch learners of mixed abilities to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum leaders and colleagues to ensure the highest teaching standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance to students.
Requirements:
  • A relevant English degree (or related subject) at Level 6 or above.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTLS, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience teaching GCSE/A-Level or Level 3 English is highly desirable.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).vil
  • The right to work in the UK and two professional references covering the last two years.
