Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Redditch from October 2026 through to February 2027. This long‑term opportunity is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging English lessons and making a positive difference to students' learning.

You will teach English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4, plan and deliver lessons aligned to the National Curriculum, assess progress and contribute to departmental

Qualifications

• QTS in English with experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of English Language and Literature across KS3/KS4.
• Experience planning and delivering lessons independently.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.

As the successful English Teacher, you will teach English Language and English Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, planning and delivering creative lessons that challenge and inspire learners. You will support students in developing their literacy skills, critical thinking, and confidence while helping them achieve their academic goals.

Job Role:

What We Offer:

• Pay from £174.71 to £240.70, which equates to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1-M6)

This secondary school is based in Redditch and is easily accessible by car and public transport from the surrounding areas, including Bromsgrove, Alvechurch, Studley, Droitwich Spa, Worcester and South Birmingham. The school also offers onsite parking for staff.
