Job description

Do you have a passion for teaching English?

Part‑Time English Teacher

Tuesdays and Wednesdays | £150 – £200 per day | Start ASAP

1:1 or small groups (max 3 pupils)

Not every child fits in a classroom.

But every child deserves to love learning again.

This role is about bringing English to life for children who’ve found mainstream education overwhelming. You’ll be teaching in a small learning hub that specialises in working at the child’s pace — not the timetable’s. Here, success isn’t measured by how fast they learn — it’s by how far they come.

The Role

We’re looking for a part‑time English Teacher to work two days a week — Tuesdays and Wednesdays — supporting pupils 1:1 or in groups of up to three.

You’ll have the time and freedom to do what great teachers do best: inspire, adapt, and connect.

You’ll:
  • Plan and deliver creative, tailored English lessons that meet each student where they are.
  • Focus on building confidence and engagement — not just grades.
  • Adapt your approach for different needs, especially for children who struggle in mainstream settings.
  • Create a calm, nurturing space where every child feels safe to try, fail, and try again.
You’ll need:
  • GCSE teaching experience (essential).
  • A genuine passion for helping children who’ve lost confidence in learning.
  • The ability to bring patience, humour, and flexibility into every lesson.
Why you’ll love this job

Because here, teaching feels like what it should be — personal, purposeful, and full of those lightbulb moments you can’t put in a spreadsheet. You’ll work in a small, supportive team that believes in doing things differently — with lessons that inspire, not intimidate.

Pay ranges from £150 to £200 per day, depending on experience.

Benefits
  • Company pension
Education
  • Bachelor’s (preferred)
Experience
  • Teaching English KS3: 1 year (required)

If you’re ready to teach English the way it should be taught — with time, care, and creativity — we’d love to hear from you.
