GSL Education are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a vibrant school in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering English curriculum to secondary school students, fostering their understanding and appreciation of literature and language.

Responsibilities
  • Teach English to students at various levels, focusing on developing both their written and oral language skills.
  • Engage students with a variety of texts, encouraging analytical and critical thinking.
  • Plan and execute lessons that effectively meet the learning objectives and needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement.
  • Prepare students for qualifications and assessments in line with the national curriculum standards.
  • Collaborate with other English department members to develop teaching materials and participate in departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
  • Experience in teaching English at secondary level.
  • Excellent command of the English language and a passion for literature.
