Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality English tuition to individuals or small groups
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit each student’s needs, learning style, and abilities
  • Simplify challenging topics to build understanding and confidence
  • Offer constructive feedback to support steady progress
  • Follow safeguarding and child protection guidelines at all times
Qualifications
  • Confident in your knowledge of the English curriculum (KS3, GCSE, or A-Level)
  • Experienced in supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs
  • Patient, adaptable, and well-organised in your teaching approach
  • A strong communicator who motivates and inspires learners
  • Up to date with safeguarding training
  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS
