English Teacher – Wirral

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable English Teacher to support a secondary school on the Wirral. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching English Language and Literature.

Contract/Position Details

• Location – Wirral
• Position – English Teacher
• Type of work – Teaching English to KS3 and KS4
• Start date – As soon as possible
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – 140 - 200 per day
• Hours – 8:00am to 4:00pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Teaching qualification with QTS
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
