We're seeking an enthusiastic educator to join the team at an Outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Huyton, teaching students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism.
This job role is part time working Monday Tuesday & Wednesday
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of amazing young people. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons, fostering a love of language, literature, and communication tailored to the unique needs of our pupils.
Location: Huyton
Role: Part-Time English Teacher (SEN)
Pupil Focus: Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism
Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
Contract: Permanent/Fixed-Term (State preference here)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience teaching English across relevant key stages.
Demonstrable experience and a strong understanding of teaching students with MLD and/or Autism is highly desirable.
A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
The ability to differentiate the curriculum effectively to ensure all learners are challenged and supported to achieve their personal best.
