Job summary

Haberdashers' Borough Academy is seeking an experienced English teacher to join our vibrant school and contribute to an ambitious PE curriculum development. You will plan and deliver outstanding lessons that engage students of all abilities across KS3, KS4 and KS5, while promoting high expectations and a love of learning.

In this role you will collaborate within a dynamic PE department, support behaviour management, and participate in enrichment and other school life activities.

• Experienced English teacher with a passion for developing curriculum.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic English teacher to join Haberdashers' Borough Academy.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued development and refinement of a well-embedded and ambitious PE curriculum, consistently planning and delivering outstanding lessons that challenge, engage and inspire students of all abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lesson planning, delivery and evaluation - actively contributing to the teaching of English across all age and ability ranges (KS3, KS4 and KS5)
• Management of student behaviour and care
• Enrichment and additional extra-curriculum activities

This role will report into the Head of English
