Saffron Valley Collegiate in Croydon is seeking a qualified English teacher with QTS/QTLS to deliver engaging lessons and raise pupil attainment across key stages. You will contribute to academic progress and support safeguarding and inclusion within a trusted learning environment.
You will create a safe, inclusive classroom, manage behaviour effectively, and use ongoing assessment to monitor progress, inform planning, and prepare pupils for examinations.
The purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality English teaching that engages and inspires pupils while raising attainment and supporting academic progress. The teacher will create a safe, inclusive learning environment, effectively manage behaviour, and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners. They will use assessment to monitor progress and inform planning, prepare pupils for examinations, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners to promote safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

This is based at KS4 South, 279 High Street, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 1QH. Please note that all SVC staff can be deployed across the collegiate to meet the needs of our pupils.
