Overview

Maths Teacher – Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Northwest London. A PRU is seeking a committed and compassionate Maths Teacher to join a dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who face challenges in mainstream education. Role details: Location: Northwest London. Start Date: ASAP or September 2025. Contract: Full-time, Permanent or Long-Term. Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience).

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Support learners with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Contribute to a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working in an alternative provision or with challenging behaviour is an advantage.
