English Teacher - Secondary School

Location: Enfield

Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time / Supply (Flexible)

Start Date: October 2025

Salary: Competitive, Pay to Scale

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons, including Literature and Language, tailored to the needs of all learners across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations with engaging and effective teaching strategies.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning goals.
  • Manage classroom behaviour professionally, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.
  • Support students’ wider development through pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
  • Comply with safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing at all times.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
