As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable English Teacher to support a secondary school on the Wirral. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching English Language and Literature.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Maintain strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Establish and enforce effective classroom management to support student learning.
• Support pupils to achieve their best in line with school targets.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Teaching qualification with QTS
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

Eligibility

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child (DBS) certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
