Job Overview

Activate Learning is hiring an enthusiastic and inspiring GCSE English Teacher to join our team at Banbury College. The role is permanent, full-time, based at Banbury College.

Responsibilities

As a GCSE English Teacher you will be responsible for teaching learners studying GCSE English Language. You may also be asked to contribute to the development of the curriculum and resources for GCSE Language, Literature and A Level English. Additionally you will participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, school events, and support extracurricular activities or clubs related to the subject area.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A level 3 qualification in English or a related subject
  • A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Previous teaching experience in the FE sector would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
