What You'll Be Doing:
  • Planning and delivering creative, high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge students
  • Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Tracking and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to help learners succeed
  • Encouraging a love of reading, writing, and communication
  • Creating a positive classroom environment that supports engagement and achievement
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the school's English curriculum and enrichment opportunities
Who We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS - essential
  • Degree in English or a related subject - essential
  • Minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience - essential
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A creative, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching
  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners
