Mission
The ESM CIO ensures that IT services within the region are delivered securely, efficiently, and in alignment with Group IT strategy. They have strong expertise in delivering IT operations (ITIL). Acting as the operational relay of the CIO, they drive IT transformation, manage resources, and guarantee that business and local needs are covered while respecting Group standards and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance & Strategy
- Implement Group IT strategy and standards at regional level.
- Define regional IT roadmap aligned with business priorities and CIO directives.
- Contribute to Group governance forums and represent regional requirements.
- IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Ensure continuity, performance, and security of IT operations (network, workplace, servers, cloud).
- Manage incident, change, and problem processes to guarantee service quality (SLA compliance).
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor IT performance.
- Applications & Transformation
- Coordinate deployment and adoption of Group applications and platforms in the region.
- Support local business units in digital projects, ensuring alignment with Group architecture.
- Anticipate technological changes (AI, GenAI, automation) and assess their impact.
- Security & Compliance
- Apply Group cybersecurity and compliance policies (GDPR, local regulations).
- Manage risk assessments and remediation plans with the CISO.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and monitor the regional IT budget (opex & capex) on Group Taxonomy.
- Negotiate resources, optimize costs, and identify savings opportunities.
- Report accurately to Group CIO and Finance.
- People & Vendor Management
- Lead and develop regional IT staff (training, career paths, performance reviews).
- Plan and distribute workload across teams.
- Liaise with other regional CIOs and Corporate IT teams for IT convergence.
- Manage local IT vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Performance Indicators
- Compliance with Group IT standards, policies, and deadlines.
- Service quality and business satisfaction levels (SLA's and NPS).
- Budget accuracy and cost optimization (Cash view and EBIT).
- Growth and development of regional IT competences.
Profile
- Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-12 years' IT experience, including at least 5 years in management.
- Solid expertise in IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of digital/customer experience businesses and AI technologies.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; other languages (French and Spanish) are a plus.
