Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an English, Maths and Science Tutor to support disengaged, at-risk and vulnerable learners in Devon. The role involves delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 and boost engagement and attainment.

This contract position is part-time, approx 15 hours per week per student, with start date ASAP and ongoing until reintegration. Candidates should have QTS or equivalent, UK classroom experience and a proactive, creative approach to SEND needs.

This English, Maths and Science Tutor role is perfect for someone looking to step away from the classroom and make a difference to the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

• Location - Within the community or pupils' home in Devon
• Position - English, Maths and Science Tutor

• Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement

• Minimum rate of pay - £27+ per hour

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
