Responsibilities

We are seeking outstanding practitioners who can motivate, enthuse and engage learners in English and who have a proven track record of helping learners to succeed. Applicants will be expected to deliver on a range of courses including GCSE and Functional Skills. Ability to teach AS/A-Level would be advantageous.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and provide support within the Maths and English department, taking on increased responsibilities as part of your role
  • Assist students to become independent learners who can meet standards of English and utilise these in the world of work
  • Use learning technology effectively to enhance and extend students’ and apprentices’ knowledge and skills
  • Multi-site delivery required with regular travel between different College sites and places of delivery within the Borough
Qualifications
  • Hold excellent English qualifications
  • Have a proven track record of impact (recent Cert Ed/PGCE graduates also considered)
  • Possess outstanding subject knowledge and passion for your subject
