Job summary

SRH International College seeks an English Language Teacher to deliver B1-level English from October 2026 to January 2027 on a freelance basis. The role involves 12 face-to-face teaching hours weekly, at the SRH campus in Heidelberg, with coursebooks and structured materials provided.

You will deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress, provide feedback, and maintain assessment records while collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality student experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching English language learners.
• Native-level or near-native proficiency in English.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident using digital learning platforms (Moodle).
• Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and student success.
• Degree in English, Linguistics, Education, TESOL, or related field desirable.
• Desirable English-teaching qualification (CELTA, CertTESOL, DELTA, MA TESOL).
• German language skills advantageous but not essential.

SRH International College works in partnership with SRH University and is based on the SRH Campus in Heidelberg. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate pathway programmes leading to English-taught degree courses at SRH campuses across Germany.

As part of their preparation for undergraduate degree study, students complete a Pre-Sessional English Language module designed to develop their academic English skills and prepare them for studying in an English-speaking academic environment.

To strengthen our team, we are seeking an English Language Teacher to teach B1-level English from October 2026 until January 2027 on a freelance basis.
