Job summary

Clyde Marine Recruitment Ltd. in partnership with Western Ferries is seeking marine engineers to join its technical team, maintaining and operating a busy fleet on the Hunter's Quay – McInroy's Point route.

This role offers a base of £41,000 per year with expected earnings around £53,000 including built-in overtime, plus 8% pension, 6 weeks annual leave and 12 weeks sick leave. The shift pattern is two weeks on, one week off, with home every night.

• Must hold STCW qualifications and EOOW level.
• Cadetship completed or in equivalent progression.
• Hands-on marine engineering experience aboard vessels.

What Is On Offer?

Basic salary: £41,000 per annum, with expected earnings of approximately £53,000 including built-in overtime

Work-life balance: Home every night, with no overnight accommodation required onboard

Candidates at STCW EOOW level who have completed their cadetship and are looking for an alternative to deep-sea work. Applicants should hold valid STCW qualifications and minimum EOOW.

Location: Candidates should ideally be based on the Cowal Peninsula, as no onboard accommodation is provided and crew members disembark at the end of each working day.
