Job summary

Stagecoach Glenrothes Depot is offering a role for aMechanical support staff member to help keep our depot running smoothly. The position is 38 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.45.

You will be responsible for cleaning and tidying the engineering premises, fueling and washing vehicles, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and SSOW. You must hold a full UK driving licence and PCV licence (or be able to attain one), work well under pressure, and be flexible with working hours.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and PCV licence or the ability to attain one.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a close-knit team.
• A flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• 38 hours per week; working pattern to be discussed at interview.
• Undertake duties to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the engineering premises and depot operations.
• Fuel and wash vehicles to meet service requirements.
• Fully comply with health and safety and engineering legislation and company policies.
• Comply with all relevant SSOW.
• Assist supervisors and managers with ad hoc requirements.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
• Maintain and develop technical skills as required.
• Practice the highest standards of housekeeping.
