Job summary

Company Profile:

Our client in Stoke on Trent is recruiting for an Engineering Technician Tutor to support with the completion of Engineering qualifications & Apprenticeships. You will be working closely with learners who are looking to undertake their Level 2 & 3 qualifications, where you will mentor and tutor them throughout their courses. We require candidates for the Engineering Technician Tutor to have a Mechanical Engineering qualification and have a passion for teaching new learners.

Duties for the Engineering Technician Tutor will include:

• Support learners with their Level 2 & 3 Engineering qualifications
• Provide mentoring and coaching to learners
• Train learners on how to use new machinery
• Complete both workshop and classroom-based training
• Attend learners' place of work to assess their learning

It would be good to see candidates for the Engineering Technician Tutor role with the following:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Mechanical Engineering role
• Experience working with young people and learners
• Ideally, hold a Teaching or Assessor qualification
• A driving licence is essential
• Must be able to complete an Enhanced DBS certificate

Hours:

Monday Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am 3:00 pm

Salary:

£30,000 Per Annum
