A medical equipment manufacturer in Plymouth is seeking an Engineering Technician for a night shift role, working from 11pm to 11am. The successful candidate will provide vital engineering support to improve machine performance and coordinate preventative maintenance activities. Experience in an automated manufacturing environment, as well as skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics, are highly desirable. This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing process.

Job description

CK Group are recruiting for an Engineering Technician, on behalf of medical equipment manufacturer based in Plymouth on a permanent basis.

This is a night shift role, working 11pm 11am, 3 days on 3 days off.

In this role, the successful candidate will provide engineering support through making improvements to machine performance, support contract engineering works and coordinate yearly preventative maintenance activities.

Candidate requirements - skills and experience :

• Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Proven experience in an automated manufacturing environment in the moulding discipline
• A background in hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, electrical, and servo systems is highly desirable
