Job description

A well-established and globally renowned manufacturing organisation are hiring an Engineering Technician (mechanical bias) on a permanent basis. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the primary focus of the role is to ensure the safe and consistent operation production, processing, and packaging equipment.

Shift: Monday to Friday (days), 37.5 hours, flexible start and finish times.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Interpret and work from isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, and other technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot faults, identify required parts, and carry out mechanical/electrical repairs
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers for equipment servicing and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in either mechanical or electrical engineering and have experience in a similar position within a manufacturing/production environment.
