Job description

A well‑established and globally renowned manufacturing organisation are hiring an Engineering Technician (mechanical bias) on a permanent basis. Working within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, the primary focus of the role is to ensure the safe and consistent operation of production, processing and packaging equipment.

Shift

Monday to Friday (days), 37.5 hours, flexible start and finish times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative, planned and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Interpret and work from isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints and other technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot faults, identify required parts and carry out mechanical/electrical repairs
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers for equipment servicing and upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in either mechanical or electrical engineering and have experience in a similar position within a manufacturing/production environment.
