Job summary

An innovative engineering company in Broadland is seeking an Engineering Technician to collaborate with teams on prototype development. You will build and assemble systems, troubleshoot issues, and support design setups. Candidates should have an HNC/Degree in Engineering and hands-on experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. A driving license and valid passport are also required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret logic diagrams and technical drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Build and assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to support prototype development and testing.

  • Support fault-finding and troubleshooting during trials, using diagrams and logical problem-solving.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring clear communication and timely progress updates.
  • Maintain a safe and organised lab environment, including tools, equipment, and planning support.
Qualifications
  • Qualified to HNC/Degree level in Engineering or a related field, with apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance.
  • Strong skills in mechanical fitting, electrical wiring, and system assembly
  • Ability to interpret logic diagrams, technical drawings, and engineering instructions
  • A team-focused approach with strong communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport (with no travel restrictions)
