Albert Bartlett is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to join the site in Airdrie. You will lead the engineering team on a 4 on 4 off shift, ensuring plant reliability and performance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You’ll diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, drive preventative maintenance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role emphasizes safety, collaboration with Production, and development of best practices within a family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled) is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering activities across the site to maximise plant reliability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
