• Time-served electrical apprenticeship is essential.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills required.
• Experience with high-speed machinery in FMCG or similar is essential.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Engineers on shift.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Mentor apprentices and junior team members.
• Deputise for the Engineering Manager as required.
• Participate in the engineering call-out rota.

• Week 1: Monday–Saturday, 06:00–14:00
• Week 2: Monday–Friday, 13:45–21:45 Salary: £20.51 – £21.51 per hour (DOE) + overtime at 1.25x hourly rate after 40 hours Department: Engineering Reporting to: Engineering Leads

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Engineers on shift
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance schedules
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on high‑speed automated machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Mentor apprentices and junior team members
• Deputise for the Engineering Manager as required
• Participate in the engineering call‑out rota
