Engineering Teacher - Immediate Start

We're working with a school that's looking for a confident, engaging Engineering Teacher to start immediately. If you've got a background in Design & Technology, this could be a great fit.

About the Role

You'll be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4, helping students build a strong foundation in design and technology, and guiding them through the full engineering process — from concept to prototype.

Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9)

• Focus on creative problem‑solving and understanding materials (including smart materials)
• Hands‑on mini‑projects, technical drawings, and CAD‑based design
• Encouraging curiosity and practical skills in design and engineering

Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11)

• Applied study of the engineering industry
• Project‑based learning with real‑world commercial context
• Full engineering cycle: design specs, client consultation, testing, and evaluation
• Modules may include forces/stresses, environmental engineering, and emerging materials
• Culminates in an externally assessed project in Year 11

Who We're Looking For

• Someone with D&T or Engineering teaching experience
• Confident delivering practical and theory‑based lessons
• Able to hit the ground running and engage students from day one
