Job description

Are you an experienced Engineering Teacher seeking a new opportunity? We are recruiting for a Teacher of Engineering to join the innovative staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools and Sixth-Forms based in Knottingley (WF11). The full-time role is available with immediate start until December initially, providing high quality support and strengthened curriculum knowledge across the KS3/4 Engineering subject. The successful applicant will work closely with the existing staff team to ensure a consistent and suitably challenging teaching approach in line with the school ethos. The Secondary Academy aims to place students at the centre of everything it does, providing them with academic and social opportunities that build resilience, confidence and the potential to thrive in life and learning.

We are seeking Educators with:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching engineering at KS3/4
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
